Seeds - Eryngium "Sea Holly"

$5.00

I first sowed these in seed trays in January 2023. They were small the first year, but they were 3-4’ tall in the summer of 2024! Pollinators love these. They have a VERY deep tap root, which makes them ideal for roadside edges, because they can survive dry summers and tolerate poor soil. This means they will not like being transplanted, so please be intentional about where you plant them. They are a fun bouquet filler, though for a few weeks in summer, they give off an earthy smell, so you may not wish to plant them near a seating area in your yard.
