TUBER SALE POP-UP AT TRIPPING GNOME FARM!
Just in time for Mother’s Day! Sunday, May 4, from 11am to 2pm, I’ll be at Tripping Gnome Farm at 64 Lupine Lane in Freeport with tubers, vases, and cards for sale!
Freeport Dahlias is at Perseverance Farm, 1612 US Route 1 in Freeport, Maine.
Tubers, seeds, and supplies are now available to customers in Maine. We are entering our eighth season growing Dahlias, and our fifth as a business in southern Maine.
We are trying out a hyperlocal sales model and only selling within the state of Maine for the 2025 season.
Sign up for my newsletter or follow me on Instagram and Facebook for news on weekend pop-ups in May, where individual tubers will be for sale.
I follow strict sanitation protocols, have a current nursery license, and never use pesticides, so you can be confident that you are bringing only chemical-free blooms into your home.
Open for the Season Saturdays 11am - 2pm!

“What can I say about Freeport Dahlias?!? A whole lot of great things! My first experience with Freeport Dahlias was last year. I was so impressed with the selection and care of the dahlias that I knew this would be someone I could & would support if possible. I live in Puerto Rico and not many growers will ship here even though we are a U.S. Territory—well Callie said absolutely I can! You can imagine how excited, thrilled & grateful I was. When I received my dahlia tubers they were hands down the best-looking tubers I received the whole season! And the best-performing as well. Callie is quick to answer any questions and give advice on growing!
We have kept in contact through this initial purchase and now I feel like we are long-time garden buddies from way back 💗 So if you want top-notch quality for your dahlias look no further!”
The Tuber Shop is open for the 2025 planting season. Each year I trial and retire dozens of different cultivars, so I can confidently sell free-market tubers with a history of performing well and overwintering successfully in New England.
Each Fall, I have a limited pre-order sale for local customers, social media followers, and newsletter members.
Delivery of tubers is in April of the planting year, via USPS or local pickup at the farm, coordinated in advance. Please understand that once the tubers are in your possession, they are your responsibility.
