DIY Bucket of Blooms
Hosting a gathering or a backyard wedding? DIY Buckets are an easy way to add wow and warmth to your gathering. Buckets have 40-50 long-stem blooms (either straight dahlias or mixed flowers). I offer these at a near-wholesale rate of $145 plus sales tax that includes a $5 nonrefundable bucket deposit.
When placing an order, please add a note or send me an email at freeportdahlias@gmail.com with your event date, preferred pickup date or delivery address, email, phone number, and anything else you’d like me to know. I’ll reach out to continue the conversation and confirm details. If you need delivery, the fee will be calculated based on IRS mileage rates, and we can settle up later.
Please note that orders are refundable ONLY up to 10 days before the delivery date. These are perishable items that you are reserving, and that I am not selling to others. Orders are processed on a first-come, first-served basis.
Stems will be harvested at dawn at 80% bloom for the longest vase life. You’ll want to take your flowers straight home to a cool environment—please don’t run errands after pickup and leave them in a hot car!
As with any local farm order-in-advance program, circumstances may arise that we have no control over, such as drought and pest pressure. I will communicate every step of the way if there are any anticipatory issues with your reserved blooms.
